BASIC SUTURING WORKSHOP

Service Description

A first introduction to instrument ties and suturing- this session will cover simple interrupted suturing. Ideally, attend a Hand Ties Workshop before. For in-person sessions, equipment will be provided. For virtual sessions: You will need to purchase your own instruments (needle holder, toothed/non-toothed forceps and scissors) and sutures. You can practice suturing on a banana skin or alternatively purchase a simulation skin pad. You also need to purchase a sharps bin. Please see the products page for products recommended by SCRUBS. You will be added to a Microsoft Team. Please join at the time of the session.
