ADVANCED SUTURING 1 WORKSHOP

Service Description

Aims to teach different suturing techniques that are commonly used in surgery. This session covers continuous and continuous locked suturing. If you do not know how to suture, we recommend attending the Basic Suturing Workshop first. For in-person sessions, equipment will be provided. For virtual sessions: You will need to purchase your own instruments (needle holder, toothed/non-toothed forceps and scissors) and sutures. You can practice suturing on a banana skin or alternatively purchase a simulation skin pad. You also need to purchase a sharps bin. Please see the products page for products recommended by SCRUBS. You will be added to a Microsoft Team. Please join at the time of the session.
